Brad Marchand was just suspended by the department of Broadcast Safety following his comments on live TV.
There is no question that Brad Marchand is the best trash talker in the National Hockey League, and last Friday he took a big shot at Paul Bissonnette when TNT broadcasted their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Days before this interview happened, Bissonnette was assaulted by six men in a Scottsdale restaurant.
The reason this took place was due to Bissonnette defending a staff member who was being harassed by the six men involved, and all of them were arrested and charged by the police. Bissonnette wasn't seriously injured in this altercation and Marchand saw a perfect opportunity to take a shot at him.
Biz asked Brad Marchand if he had a hair trasnplant over the off-season as one of the surgeries he underwent, after laughing about it Marchand quickly came back and took a shot at Biz about his recent controversy he was involved in.
Everyone on the TNT panel loved this and so did many fans, and on Wednesday night ahead of the Bruins game which was being televised on TNT Bissonnette shared a hilarious video posed as the director of broadcast safety under the name of Peorge Garros, announced that Marchand was going to be suspended for a full season and will no longer be eligible for the Mr. TNT award.
