NHL Insider Just Revealed How Trent Frederic's Injury Will Play A Part In The Upcoming NHL Trade Deadline

An official update has been issued on Boston Bruins forward Trent Frederic, and now an insider has revealed how it is going to affect the Boston Bruins at the upcoming March 7th NHL trade deadline.
Earlier in the week, Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney held a press conference to address some of the ongoing concerns within the Bruins organization, and the trade deadline was one of them.
Don Sweeney admitted without officially saying it, that the Boston Bruins are more then likely going to be sellers at the NHL trade deadline.
Don Sweeney said repeatedly that the Bruins will be taking a more «cautious» approach this trade deadline. Said he doesn't expect to be «overly aggressive.»
They currently sit two points out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and are dealing with multiple injuries at the moment. The odds are not in the Bruins favour to make the playoffs this year.
In their last game, they got hit with some unfortunate news as they ended up losing another key forward in Trent Frederic.
Today an official update was given of Frederic's status and it was revealed that he is going to be out week-to-week.
How Frederic's Injury Will Change Things For The Bruins At The Deadline
Following the update, NHL insider Christ Johnston revealed how this is going to change things for the Boston Bruins come the NHL trade deadline.
Johnston revealed that even though Frederic may miss some time, this will not change how the Bruins go into the trade deadline, and he could still be moved if the organization plans on doing it.
Trent Frederic is considered "week to week" after leaving Tuesday's #bruins game with a lower-body injury, but the sense is that it won't change any plans ahead of the trade deadline.
The pending UFA could still be moved.
