Five days later, the B's are now looking to push their latest win streak to three games as they travel to Chicago's United Center to face the Hawks on Tuesday night.
Boston forward David Pastrnak was the last matchup's hero; he scored two goals, including the game-winner with just a few seconds left on the game clock.
Unlike their last game agaisnt Chicago, the Bruins will be sending Linus Ullmark between the pipes for tonight's affair. The 6'4'' goaltender has a 17-9-3 record this season but has struggled lately, winning just one of his past five starts.
On the other end of the ice, the Blackhawks will turn to veteran goalkeeper Marc-Andre Fleury for tonight's game.
It is also to be noted that, after missing yesterday's practice as part of a maintenance day, captain Patrice Bergeron will slide into his regular spot on the B's top line.
With no last-minute roster changes expected, here's a preview of tonight's line combos and defensive pairings:
Brad Marchand Patrice Bergeron Jake Debrusk
Taylor Hall Erik Haula David Pastrnak
Trent Frederic Charlie Coyle Craig Smith
Nick Foligno Tomas Nosek Curtis Lazar
Mike Reilly Charlie McAvoy
Matthew Grzelcyk Brandon Carlo
Derek Forbort Connor Clifton
Linus Ullmark
Jeremy Swayman
Tonight's puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 pm ET at Chicago's United Center.
