Providence Bruins sign defenseman to one-year deal

The Providence Bruins have added to their blue line as they have signed a defenseman.
As Scott McLaughlin reports, Boston's affiliate has signed Fedor Gordeev to a one-year, AHL contract.
Gordeev, 23, was born in Toronto, Ontario but his family is originally from Omsk, Russia.
The 6'6'', left-shot defenseman was drafted in the fifth round (141st overall) by the Maple Leafs in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
He was traded to the Minnesota Wild by Toronto for a conditional pick in 2020 NHL Draft on May 30th, 2019.
Gordeev, spent time with the Wild's AHL affiliate, Iowa Wild and most recently their ECHL affiliate, Iowa Heartlanders.
