While the Boston Bruins' season is on pause, defenseman Torey Krug's season hangs in limbo.
Krug confirmed to reporters that there hasn't been any contract talks between the two sides yet and signs continue to point to him being a free agent.
If the NHL season is canceled, that likely means that Krug has played his last game in a Bruins' uniform.
Krug is hoping he hasn't and general manager DonSweeney was asked about Krug's comments recently.
"I dearly hope Krug has not played his last game in Boston. His attributions on the ice is very important to this team."
No mentions of any contract or hint that they've begun discussing a new deal.
Recent reports have him linked to the Detroit RedWings and even the Montreal Canadiens.
The 28 year old has registered 337 points in 523 games with the Bruins which includes 67 career goals.
Do you think Krug has played his last game as a Bruin?
