Despite all of the injuries the Boston Bruins have had to deal with over the first two months of the 2017-18, they have stepped it up and continue to surprise many doubters.
The Bruins have won eight out of their last 10 games and currently find themselves in third place in the Atlantic Division.
As good as the Boston Bruins have played of late, the Providence Bruins have been on quite the roll themselves. The P-Bruins notched their seventh straight win on Sunday with a 4-3 overtime victory over the Utica Comets.
Kenny Agostino won the game with a highlight reel goal during the opening shift of the extra time. Agostino skated the length of the ice, eluded defenders and then scored by shooting the puck between his legs and into the Utica net.
Agostino continues to be a force in the American Hockey League as the reigning league MVP has six goals and 15 points in 17 games.
The current winning streak has the Providence Bruins sitting atop the AHL's Atlantic Division with the third best record in the league.
