The All-Star break for most is officially looked at like the mid-season mark for the NHL.
With the league wide break, the PHWA (Professional Hockey Writers Association) gave out their Midseason Award winners.
While neither landed in first place, two Boston Bruins' forwards were recognized for two awards.
David Pastrnak ranked third for the Hart Trophy behind Nathan MacKinnon who came in second and Connor McDavid who landed first.
No surprise for Patrice Bergeron who was recognized for the Selke landing in second place behind Sean Couturier who came in first and ahead of last year's winner RyanO'Reilly who came in third.
It would be awesome to see David Pastrnak nominated for the Hart Trophy at end of season!
