The PTO contracts keep adding up!

Earlier today, the Carolina Hurricanes announced that they signed veteran defenseman Calvin de Haan to a professional tryout.
Now, two Canadian teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks have announced that they have also signed players to PTOs themselves. First, it was the Canucks themselves that announced their signing.
As per Canucks PR:
''Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has signed defenceman Danny DeKeyser to a professional tryout contract.''

Undrafted, the 32-year-old has appeared in 547 career NHL games, all with his hometown Detroit Red Wings. DeKeyser has recorded 33 goals, 113 assists, and 266 penalty minutes. The 6'3", 183-pound blueliner has also appeared in 19 playoff games across four postseasons with the Red Wings, collecting a goal and an assist.
Then, the Maple Leafs announced their PTO signing of an incredible depth player:
''We have signed forward Zach Aston-Reese to a professional tryout (PTO) contract.''

Zach Aston-Reese, also undrafted, has appeared in 230 NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Anaheim Ducks. The career bottom-six forward has collected 32 goals and 34 assists. Toronto will now have quite the battle of players trying to make their fourth line.
