The Bruins have completed a move that will reportedly run Swayman out of Boston
The Boston Bruins may complete a move with Jeremy Swayman that could run him out of the city of Boston.
Today marks the deadline for arbitration eligible restricted free agents, at 5pm teams must submit their contracts to the NHL and if not then they will have to go to arbitration to figure it out.
The Bruins and Swayman have to both agree to a contract before the 5pm deadline or else it will force them to go back to arbitration like last year.
Jeremy Swayman has stated that he never wants to go back to arbitration again, and if the Bruins and him can't agree on a contract and get forced to go back into arbitration it might run Swayman out of Boston or ruin his love for the city and team.
Today at 5pm is the deadline for arbitration eligible RFAs in the #NHL. The Jeremy Swayman watch is on. Swayman has stated previously that he never wants to go to arbitration again #NHLBruins #GetBent
Jeremy Swayman is slated to be the Bruins number one goalie this year after stealing the starting role from Linus Ullmark, but they aren't sure if Korpisalo or Bussi will be the back up yet.
