A big rumor involving a Bruins legend has just been confirmed

News broke today that former Bruins legend Jaromir Jagr will be inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame.

The 52-year-old icon has been having a great 2024 as he received a great honor from his former team the Pittsburgh Penguins who retired his number into the rafters and dedicated the entire day for him. It was also revealed recently that he will have a front office job with the Penguins while remaining at home in Czechia working remotely.

Over his 19-year career in the NHL, where he played for 9 NHL organizations including the Boston Bruins in the 2012-2013 season. He had played 1733 games, scoring 766 goals with 1155 assists for 1921 points and was a + 322. His international play was just as impressive as he won gold in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, won 2 gold in the World Championships in Vienna and Cologne in 2005 in 2010.

He also has been an ambassador and part owner of his team Kladno in Czechia where he still placed hockey to this day where on April 18th, 2024, he became the oldest player to score a goal in professional competition as he broke the Gordie Howe record.

With Jagr's induction, Czechia has plenty to celebrate which included winning the gold medal as they hosted the IIHF World Hockey Championship.
