In a quest for a game-changing spark to break their team-game losing streak, head coach Jim Montgomery is implementing substantial alterations to the Bruins' lineup this Thursday.

On the first line, Boston will feature Brad Marchand, Matt Poitras, and Danton Heinen. This strategic move aims to enhance Poitras' playmaking skills, with Montgomery lauding Heinen for his prowess in winning 50-50 chances.

Marchand expressed optimism about the change, emphasizing Heinen's stellar performance throughout the season. He sees effective communication and support as keys to success for the new line, eagerly anticipating positive outcomes.

"I think it will be good...Heinen has been playing great all year and Matty is such a gifted young player. It's like any new line, the more you communicate and talk to each other and support each other the more success you're going to have."

Heinen, having fought for a roster spot before the season, looks forward to complementing the games of Poirtas and Marchand.

«I don't think I'll try to change too much, just complement those guys any way I can,»
Heinen remarked, acknowledging the high skill levels of his teammates.

Montgomery is hopeful that these adjustments will guide his team back to their winning process in the upcoming matchup against the San Jose Sharks at 7 p.m. ET.
