The Boston Bruins Have Officially Demoted Brad Marchand
After a scorching start to the season, the Boston Bruins now face a string of challenges, having dropped four of their last five games.
Despite maintaining their lead in the Atlantic Division, recent times haven't been smooth sailing for the team.
In response to the adversity, head coach Jim Montgomery has shaken up the line combinations, notably demoting captain Brad Marchand to the third line.
Jake DeBrusk, in turn, has been elevated to Marchand's usual position on the top line.
Marchand, who boasts seven goals and 12 assists this season, is currently grappling with a personal slump, having failed to make it onto the scoresheet in the last four games.
