Jim Montgomery makes a big statement involving Brad Marchand
After the Boston Bruins last game against the Florida Panthers, they will have a couple of days to rest before game 6 takes place on Friday in Boston.
This is a bonus especially for captain Brad Marchand as he is currently dealing with an injury he suffered in game 3 against the Panthers. Brad Marchand has been absent from the Bruins lineup ever since then but has been skated with the team.
Today Jim Montgomery provided a update regarding Brad Marchand stating that he is still day-to-day, but with this two day break it will be beneficial for him to recover and potentially be a game time decision come Friday.
Jim Montgomery: Brad Marchand is still day-to-day. Will know more tomorrow when it comes to his status for Game 6.
The Boston bruins are hopeful to get Marchand's presence back for game 6 as it would give their lineup a boost and he has been one of the Bruins best penalty killers as well.
Stay tuned for further updates.
