Towards the end of the second period, Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk delivered a questionable hit from behind on Bruins' Parker Wotherspoon while the puck was behind the Bruins' net.

The hit prompted a two-minute interference penalty for Tkachuk, a call that left many fans clamoring for harsher punishment.
Beecher's teammates swiftly intervened, delivering a few retaliatory shots before the referees intervened and removed Tkachuk from the situation.
