On April 20, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney made a significant announcement regarding defenseman Mason Lohrei. Despite his contributions to the team this season, Lohrei has been reassigned to Providence.
At 23 years old, Lohrei has played in 41 games with Boston, showcasing his skills with four goals and nine assists, totaling 13 points.

Additionally, he has participated in 19 games with Providence, adding one goal and 14 assists to his record. Originally drafted by Boston in the second round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Lohrei hails from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
