The Boston Bruins Made A Massive Announcement Regarding Two Players And It's Exciting
Last night, fans got to witness the first international games from NHL players in a long, long time, and it was not a let down.
Team Canada, and Team Sweden absolutely put on a show for fans. Canada was given a power play opportunity less than a minute into the game, and it took them just 12 seconds to score off a beautiful pass from the captain Sidney Crosby.
Marchand followed that up not long after by scoring Canada's second goal to give them a quick 2-0 lead in the first period.
Taking a 3-1 lead into the third period, it was inevitable that Sweden was going to make a push to try and tie things up, and they did exactly that, tying the game at 3 a piece.
The first game of the tournament saw overtime and it was not a let down, chances back and forth, so much talent on the ice, but ultimately Brad Marchand and team Canada ended up taking the win after a beautiful drop pass from Sidney Crosby to Mitch Marner, and he absolutely sniped it for the winner.

With game one out of the way, now it's on to game two where the Boston Bruins are going to be represented by Charlie McAvoy, and Jeremy Swayman, and they made an announcement regrading them recognizing that now it's time to watch Sway and McAvoy take the ice at the Four Nation Faceoff.
