Unfortunately the Bruins are entering their break on a poor note after suffering back-to-back losses in regulation when entering the third period with a lead.
If the Bruins would have won just one of those games they would currently be in a playoff spot as they sit just 1 point out.
Captain Brad Marchand took matters into his own hand by calling out the Bruins after their loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, but now three players have been called out and have to do better if the Bruins want to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year.
In the off-season, the Bruins and Lindholm agreed to a massive 7-year, $54.25 million contract in hopes that he would be the solution to their problems down the middle, but has just 10 goals, 29 points in 57 games for the Bruins.
Lindholm has shown some signs that he is starting to bounce back, kinda like Morgan Geekie. In his last six games Lindholm has two goals, and five points which is promising.
Trent Frederic has been the center of a lot of trade rumours this season, and with how the Bruins are playing recently, it has not helped them go away. Until he does get traded if it happens, the Bruins need Frederic to step up and help them get back on track.
This year has been super disappointing, Frederic has only eight goals, and 15 points in 55 games this year. A major decrease from his career year he had last year.
Last season, Coyle stepped up big after the Bruins lost Bergeron and Krejci. He scored 25 goals, and had 60 points in 82 games, but this season his offensive production has massively gone down. Coyle currently sits with just 20 points in 57 games.
Coyle is playing top-six minutes for the Boston Bruins, and is an important forward. If they are going to make a push for the playoffs, they are going to need him to be a key player again and step things up.
