Tragedy Strikes The Boston Bruins Top Prospect
In an unfortunate turn of events, tragedy struck the promising future of Boston Bruins top prospect Cole Spicer.
The young talent, playing for Minnesota-Duluth, is now facing academic ineligibility, forcing him out for the remainder of the season.
#NHLBruins prospect Cole Spicer (#27 on Bruins Benders Top 30) is academically ineligible at Minnesota-Duluth and out for the remainder of the season. 5-4-9 in 17 games for the 19-year-old who was a 2022 4th round pick
Spicer, a 2022 4th round pick, had showcased his potential with an impressive record of 5 goals, 4 assists, and 9 points in 17 games at the age of 19.
Sounds like Spicer will have to take another route for hockey. There are options, but I'm not sure the Bruins will reward him with a contract.
Options:
WHL
Overseas
Back to USHL
AHL Providence (would have to sign)
ECHL Maine (would have to sign)
