Austin Matthew's Becomes The Highest Paid Player In The NHL
Auston Matthews has given his personal confirmation about extending his contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs, showing his appreciation for the chance to continue with the team.
Although the specific contract details are still under wraps, Matthews expressed his excitement, saying,
"I consider myself lucky to keep moving forward as a Maple Leaf, with the greatest fans in hockey supporting us all the way! I'll give my all to help us reach the pinnacle. Go Leafs Go! #LeafsForever"
It is confirmed that he has signed a 4-year $13.25 million extension with the Maple Leafs.
