Scary Scene As Star Player Lays Motionless On The Ice
The Detroit Red Wings faced a tense moment on Saturday night that sent shockwaves through the team.
In the initial period of the game against the Ottawa Senators, Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin found himself in a precarious situation after absorbing a blow to the head and/or neck area from Senators forward Mathieu Joseph.
Larkin lay motionless, face down on the ice for an extended period, appearing unconscious after the apparent head impact from Joseph. Eventually, with assistance, he regained his senses and was helped off the ice. The extent of Larkin's injuries from the incident remains uncertain at this early stage.
Further updates on Larkin's condition will follow.
