Tragedy Strikes The Hockey Community As 36 Year Old Passes Away
Former Halifax Mooseheads hockey player Jiri Suchy tragically passed away at 36 due to a car accident.
Suchy, who played for the Mooseheads from 2005 to 2007, scored 9 goals and 33 points in 118 games. After his time in the QMJHL, he played in the Czech and German leagues.
The Mooseheads expressed condolences, with fans and former teammates remembering Suchy fondly on social media.
Bryce Swan, a former teammate, paid tribute to Suchy's impact on the ice, highlighting his powerful hits.
