The Boston Bruins are looking for their second win in a row tonight as they'll throw down with the top team in the NHL, the Washington Capitals.
Unfortunately for the Bruins they announced some tough injury news.
General manager Don Sweeney announced that the Bruins have placed defenseman Torey Krug on injured reserve.
In a corresponding move Sweeney revealed that the team has called up veteran forward Paul Carey from Providence. The 31 year old currently leads the P-Bruins with seven goals and six assists in 17 games.
Sweeney didn't give any further details about Krug's upper body injury.
