The Boston Bruins will be looking to earn their second win against the New York Rangers in less then a week when the Rangers host the Bruins tonight at Madison Square Garden.
After their dominate win against the Minnesota Wild last night, the Bruins are now setting up to face the Rangers after beating them 6-3 thanks to David Pastrnak dominating scoring a hat trick, and picking up an assist for four points.
The Bruins are riding a two game win streak at the moment after beating the New York Rangers and the Minnesota Wild, outscoring them 9-3.
The Boston Bruins have confirmed that Joonas Korpisalo will get the net tonight instead of Jeremy Swayman, who has been hot for the Boston Bruins.
Swayman is coming off of back-to-back wins against the Rangers, and Wild and has started to look like himself again.
Korpisalo on the other hand has been super solid for the Boston Bruins as well. This season he has started in 18 games for the Boston Bruins, and has a record of 9-5-2 with a 2.84 goals against average and a .894 save percentage.
