The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced some injury and roster moves on Monday.�
Sweeney announced that the team has officially placed defenseman Charlie McAvoy on injured reserve with a lower body injury reserve.�
The Bruins have also called up defenseman Jeremy Lauzon from the Providence Bruins on an emergency basis.�
Lauzon has�one goal and nine assists for 10 points with a plus-16 rating in 35 games with Providence this year.
