The Boston Bruins shut out the Buffalo Sabres 3-0 on�Friday night with the regular theme of the first line doing most of the production.�
Patrice Bergeron registered two goals while Brandon Carlo added the third.
Boston needs secondary scoring for the playoffs and have been attached to a couple of players including Tyler Toffolli recently.
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported on Saturday night that the Bruins are one in four teams pushing for Rangers forward Chris Kreider.�
Friedman adds the Colorado Avalanche, St. Louis Blues and Pittsburgh Penguins as the other teams believed to be interested in the forward.�
Kreider currently has 11 goals and 13 assists in 38 games for the Rangers.�
