The Boston Bruins have announced two surprising players as healthy scratches for their game against the Buffalo Sabres.

The Boston Bruins are set to take on a struggling Buffalo Sabres team tonight, and according to the Bruins morning skate this morning, the Bruins are set to healthy scratch two surprising players.

Joe Sacco has made some changes ahead of their game tonight as Charlie Coyle is getting promoted to the Bruins top line, and Justin Brazeau is getting put down to the third line with Trent Frederic and Oliver Wahlstrom.

Trent Frederic is set to centre this line after playing the majority of the year on the wing.

According to the Bruins morning skate this morning two players are set to be healthy scratched.

Marc McLaughlin and Parker Wotherspoon are set to be the healthy scratches for the Boston Bruins tonight against the Buffalo Sabres.

The Buffalo Sabres are currently on a 12 game losing streak, giving the Boston Bruins a perfect opportunity to find their game once again after blowing a 2-0 lead to the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday and losing the game 3-2 in overtime.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at TD Garden as the Bruins finished their West Coast road trip against the Edmonton Oilers.
