Bruins sign forward to extension

The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced a contract extension on Tuesday.�
The team has signed forward Paul�Carey to a two year, two way extension through 2020-21.�
Carey's extension will come with an annual NHL cap hit of $700k.�
The forward was acquired in the January 11th trade that sent Cody Goloubef to the Ottawa Senators.�
From the Bruins press release:
"Since arriving in Providence, he leads the team with 16 goals and seven assists for 23 points in 23 games. He has also skated in five games with Ottawa this season, as well as 29 games with AHL affiliate Belleville, where he has tallied five goals and 22 assists for 27 points."
