The Boston Bruins are getting ready for their Game 2 matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs looking to gain back home ice advantage.
Toronto was able to sneak back into the game after the Bruins jumped off to a 1-0 start.
With home ice advantage, head coach Bruce Cassidy isn't going to have much patience.
According to Jimmy Murphy,
"Bruce Cassidy has made it be known to the players that he will have a short leash for ALL of them during game 2 against the Leafs. From the goal out, they will need to earn their playing time. Matchups still matter, but effort matters more!"
It'll be interesting to see Cassidy decides to insert David Backes into the lineup after he was a healthy scratch for Game 1.
