If you love juicy gossip and hockey, then you must be in heaven during the final few days leading up to the NHL trade deadline.

Rumors and speculation come from all over the place. Some from trusted sources and some from crackpots.

Jimmy Murphy, formerly of ESPN, has been a source of plenty of rumors over the years and he had another one regarding the Boston Bruins this afternoon. According to Murphy and his sources, the Bruins and the New York Rangers have not stopped talking trade after the Nick Holden deal yesterday.

Instead of bringing up defenseman Ryan McDonagh, Murphy mentioned that the Bruins have interest in a forward. He listed Rick Nash, Michael Grabner and possibly Chris Krieder as potential trade targets.

Just like general manager Don Sweeney said on Tuesday, the price will have to right for the Bruins to make a deal. Not sure if they are wiling to give up a player like Brandon Carlo or Jake DeBrusk for any of these players.
