The Boston Bruins head to Detroit tonight as they'll face off against the RedWings.
With the Bruins having already clinched a playoff spot, it gives head coach Bruce Cassidy the opportunity to rest some players if need be.
Cassidy sounds like he'll start by doing that tonight.
The Bruins head coach announced that"a couple guys are banged up or under the weather" so forward lines will be determined closer to game time. So we'll likely see a healthy scratch or two for rest. The team held an optional skate this morning so we didn't get any preview of the possible lineup changes in all.
Cassidy did tell us that Connor Clifton will be scratched and David Pastrnak will return to the top line alongside Brad Marchand Patrice Bergeron.
On the defensive side of things Cassidy announced that Kevan Miller will play tonight and will pair up withMatt Grzelcyk.
