We've been hearing for the last couple of weeks that the Boston Bruins would make a move.
Last week the Bruins landed Charlie Coyle from the Minnesota Wild and before the deadline clock struck 12, general manager DonSweeney landed Marcus Johansson from the New Jersey Devils.
Because the deal was made at the last minute, details weren't available immediately.
The deal is now official and the Bruins gave up a 2019 second round pick and a 2020 fourth round pick.
So Sweeney keeps his 2019 first round picks and lands a versatile depth forward who can play center and both wings.
