It was a great sight to see yesterday and got Bruins' fans hopes up as Patrice Bergeron returned to practice.
Bergeron participated in full line rushes and skated in his regular spot on the first line, however when the puck was dropped against the Devils, Bergeron was nowhere to be found.
The B's top line center was a scratch once again and David Krejci filled in with two assists.
Looking forward to Thursday, Bergeron is hoping he can play but isn't ready to rush back to action like he has in previous years.
"I'm feeling better. It's progressing well. Today was a pretty good skate, so I'm feeling good," said Bergeron. "It's a minor issue, but we want to make sure it doesn't linger for too long. So, we're being cautious and making sure it's 100 percent before I get back out there."
The Bruins sit in first place of the Atlantic Division so there's no need to rush their star center back just yet.
