Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron has put together an incredible start to the season and was rewarded for it this week.
Bergeron was named the NHL's first start of the week for the week ending October 15th and it's well deserved as he led the league in scoring during the time.
He had four goals and nine points in three games highlighted by his fourth career hat trick in the B's win against the Ottawa Senators.
The B's forward became the fifth player in Bruins history to record a hat trick in the team's home opener and first to do it since Cam Neely in 1995-96.
The 33 year old has five goals and 11 points so far this season in five games and if he continues, will without a doubt be in the running for the Hart Trophy.
