The Boston Bruins are looking for secondary scoring help and they might have a solution in Carolina.
According to Elliotte Friedman's latest edition of "31Thoughts", the Bruins are showing interest in Hurricanes forward Micheal Ferland.
The 26 year old forward is set to become UFA this summer and has been rumored to be on the trade block for the last couple of weeks.
Ferland only has a $1.75million cap hit this season so he would fit under the Bruins' salary cap as they only have $3.85million in cap space.
The winger put up 21 goals in 77 games last year and currently has 13 goals and 12 assists in 39 games so far this season which includes nine power play points.
Do you think he would be a good solution for the Bruins' second line?
