One of the areas some fans and analysts would like to see the team address is the grittiness of the team by possibly adding another power forward.
Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston brought up the name of Wayne Simmonds once again.
The Flyers 30 year old forward is in the final year of his deal and will be UFA after the season, so he could be a rental, or if all goes well the team could re-sign him
Philly has yet to hire a general manager and one of the first orders of business for said new GM will be to make a decision on Simmondss status. With the Flyers currently sitting in the basement of the Eastern Conference standings he'll likely be dealt.
Haggerty adds that Simmonds can probably be had for Anders Bjork and maybe a draft pick which wouldn't be a high price to pay considering Bjork hasn't seemed to have found a fit in the Bruins lineup.
Would you like to see Simmonds in a Flyers jersey?
