The Bruins are struggling with the salary cap. One player to relieve some cap who they can trade is Derek Forbort. But where could he go?
Forbort could go to the Winnipeg Jets. Boston has been linked to Mark Scheifele, and to make the trade work, Derek could be dumped to his former team.
Derek could also go to another former team, the Calgary Flames. Calgary could use some defensive help. Also, the Bruins have been linked to Elias Lindholm, so Forbort could possibly be dumped there as well to make things work with the salary cap.
