The Final Decision on The Arizona Coyotes Has Been Made and Fans Are Nowhere Close to Happy
According to Craig Morgan of Gophnx.com, the Arizona Coyotes remain in their location despite their recent arena setback in Tempe.
While the credibility of Gary Bettman and the NHL has been called into question, the Coyotes are not up for sale and are actively exploring options for a new arena in the Valley.
Houston will not be receiving a hockey franchise, contrary to rumors. The potential sites for the new arena include Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land. However, reports of the Old Fiesta Mall being a relocation site are incorrect.
Currently, discussions are taking place between the Coyotes and De Rito Partners regarding Pima Road, tribal land with restrictions on sportsbooks and residences.
Despite pressure from player agents, the league has not imposed a deadline for the Coyotes to decide on the arena location.
