Elliotte Friedman reported today that a player on the New York Rangers has been placed on waivers and the Bruins might be interested in bringing him in to replace Jake DeBrusk in the off-season.
Since the off-season began there have been a bunch of rumours around the New York Rangers and Barclay Goodrow, well the Rangers have officially placed him on waivers according to Elliotte Friedman, and any team is available to claim him.
With the Bruins more than likely parting ways with Jake DeBrusk, claiming Goodrow off waivers might not be the worst idea as they wouldn't have to give up anything to acquire him.
He has three years left on his current deal at $3.642 million, with a 15 team no-trade clause.
Goodrow was clutch with the Rangers during the playoffs, scoring 6 goals in 16 games for them, while only playing in a depth roll with the team.
Do you think Barclay Goodrow would be a good replacement for Jake DeBrusk?
