Boston Bruins' Brad Marchand Calls Out Fans For A Serious Reason

Over the past couple of weeks, the National Hockey League has seen some controversy between Canadian and USA fans, as Canadian fans have been expressing their frustration with recent policy changes the United States of American has implemented that is affecting Canadians.

The fans expressed their frustration by booing the American National anthem on multiple different occasions. This led to American teams booing the Canadian National anthem, which promoted the league to consider changing their policies when it comes to the pre game anthem before puck drop.

Brad Marchand calls out fans over the recent booing's

Multiple NHL players spoke out about the fans booing the National anthems, and recently Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand did when appearing on the What Chaos! podcast.

Brad Marchand started off by stating that booing the National anthem was a sign of disrespect and he didn't agree with it at all.

«The anthems are there as a sign of respect because of our veterans and all that they sacrificed. The entire reason we get to play this game and have freedom

Marchand, also went on to say that he did not respect the people who were booing the National anthem as they have no control on what's going on with the politics.

«Also, we're playing hockey. We don't have any decision in what's going on in politics, so I don't agree with that stuff.»

At the end of the day, at least Brad Marchand shared his opinion on the matter, unlike Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews who declined to speak on the matter due to political reasons.

Canada and USA are facing off on Saturday night in Montreal, and it's going to be interesting to see what happens.
