Team Sweden Reportedly Disrespects Boston Bruins Elias Lindholm: Per Elliotte Friedman
The Boston Bruins brought in Elias Lindholm in the off-season after losing pieces like Patrice Bergeron, and David Krejci during the last off-season. Lindholm was expected to be their replacement and the Bruins true number 1 center.
That has not been the case at all. In the off-season the Bruins signed Lindholm to a massive 7-year, $7.75 million deal, and it's looked terrible ever since.
Lindholm has appeared in 57 games for the Boston Bruins this season, and it's clear he is struggling. The former 70+ point player has just 10 goals, 19 assists for 29 points this year.
At the beginning of the season, Lindholm opened up about his struggles, and has bounced around between lines 1-3 in the Bruins lineup, but just can't seem to find his game.
Even though he has been struggling, he was still announced to Team Sweden for the Four Nations Faceoff tournament.
According to Elliotte Friedman, Team Sweden has disrespected Boston Bruins forward Elias Lindholm.

Yesterday, Elliotte Friedman revealed Team Sweden's lineup for the Four Nations tournament, and they placed Lindholm on the fourth line.
A player like Eriksson Ek was placed above him on the third line who only has 23 points on the season. Recently Lindholm's game has improved, he has 4 points over his last six games, and this just seems like a shot at him.
