Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy is unfortunately going to miss the Four Nations Face-Off Finale tonight, but he sent Team USA and Americans a message on social media to show his support.

This game has been building hype around it for the past couple of weeks, and Team Canada, and Team USA's first game broke multiple viewership records, tonight it is expected to break some more records.

Team Canada lost one of their top defenseman during their first game at the 4 Nations in Shea Theodore.

Now Team USA is down a defenseman as well after Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy was admitted to the hospital following their game against Sweden that he did not dress up for.

This is a big loss for Team USA, but today McAvoy was released from the hospital and right away sent Team USA a message showing his support for his teammates.

The post Charlie McAvoy shared on social media showed him playing 'Free Bird' by Lynyrd Skynard in his car after leaving the hospital. This song has become Team USA's anthem during their run in the 4 Nations where they are 2-1-0 looking to be 3-1-0 if they can defeat Canada today.

It was also reported that Charlie McAvoy is going to be at the game tonight, although he will not dress, he will be there to support his teammates in one of the biggest games to take place in awhile.

Charlie McAvoy is expected to be at TD Garden tonight for the USA-Canada game. He obviously can't play because of his upper-body injury, but he is expected to be in attendance.

There is a lot on the line tonight. This game has brought a lot of hype around it, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
