Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco just confirmed whether or not David Pastrnak will play against the Blue Jackets.
Heading into their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Boston Bruins were uncertain whether or not David Pastrnak was going to dress for the team tonight or not.
The Bruins got some good news, as David Pastrnak was on the ice for the morning skate. Following the morning skate, Bruins head coach Joe Sacco was asked whether or not David Pastrnak was going to play and he confirmed it.
Joe Sacco confirmed that David Pastrnak will play tonight as the Bruins look to get revenge on the Blue Jackets after being embarrassed by them during their last meeting, ultimately leading to Jim Montgomery being fired by the Bruins.
Joe Sacco on the #NHLBruins facing Columbus tonight: "The start is going to be important for us tonight. I would imagine they're going to come out with some pace tonight in their game and we have to be ready to respond to that."
The Boston Bruins are coming off a big win right before the holiday break where they dominated against one of the top teams in the league, the Washington Capitals.
Even though they ended up losing David Pastrnak mid-way through the game with an upper-body injury, and losing Oliver Wahlstrom in the third period after he was ejected for a dangerous hit.
The Boston Bruins will be looking to get off to a hot start tonight, and dominate the Blue Jackets like they did against the Capitals.
