Western Conference Team Reportedly In Talks To Acquire Top Boston Bruins Defenseman As Trade Talks Heat Up

This season has been a bumpy one for the Boston Bruins, and because of that a lot of players have been in trade talks, and it was just reported that a Western Conference team has been in talks about acquiring Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo.
Brandon Carlo has not been involved in a lot of trade talks this year, but as the trade deadline has quickly approached, his name has been involved in a more conversations and not for no reason.
Carlo is a veteran defenseman that can add a lot of experience to a contender at the NHL trade deadline and this has made him appealing.
The 6-foot-5 defenseman has had a down year with the Bruins this season, but the entire Boston Bruins team has had a down year other then David Pastrnak.
Carlo has appeared in 61 games this season for the Boston Bruins and has just one goal, eight assists for 9 points this season, along with 117 blocks and 61 hits.
Calgary Flames In Talks To Acquire Bruins Brandon Carlo
This morning, an NHL Insider announced that the Calgary Flames have been in talks with the Boston Bruins regarding Brandon Carlo.
It was also reported that the teams have not dove into details yet, but Calgary is showing a lot of interest in acquiring Carlo.

Carlo could definitely fetch a solid return for the Bruins at the NHL trade deadline and with them wanting to re-tool, it wouldn't be a terrible idea to move on from the defenseman as he has started to show signs of regressing.
