The Boston Bruins are coming off of a win that ended up handing the Buffalo Sabres their 13th straight loss after beating them 3-1 on Saturday night.
It was a bit of a struggle for the Bruins as they didn't look their sharpest against the Sabres, and the Bruins third line of Brazeau-Frederic-Wahlstrom did not look good, and many believed that this line would get broken up, but that's not the case.
Head coach Joe Sacco of the Boston Bruins made a controversial decision of not making any changes heading into their game tonight against the Washington Capitals.
From Sacco:
The only change the Bruins are set to make heading into their game tonight is in goal, as Jeremy Swayman was confirmed to be the starter tonight after Joonas Korpisalo picked up his seventh win of the year against the Buffalo Sabres.
Scott McLaughlin believes that Joe Sacco may make some in game line changes if the third line looks as bad as they did Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres.
The Bruins have a big challenge ahead of them tonight facing the 2nd best team in the league, and will be a good test to see where the Bruins currently sit.
Sacco had this to say about the Bruins heading into tonight's game:
The Bruins are set to host the Capitals tonight at TD Garden and puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
