Boston Bruins insider Scott McLaughlin revealed that an interesting roster change may be made by Bruins head coach Joe Sacco during their game vs the Washington Capitals.
Last game the Bruins placed Charlie Coyle on the top line with Elias Lindholm, and Brad Marchand. With this move, they placed Justin Brazeau on the third line with Oliver Wahlstrom and Trent Frederic, and this line did not look good against the Buffalo Sabres.
Fans were shocked to find out that this line was staying intact for their game against the Washington Capitals, but Bruins insider Scott McLaughlin hinted that change could happen during the game.
Since this line was just placed together last game, maybe Joe Sacco thinks keeping them together to develop some chemistry will pay off, but McLaughlin believes that if they don't look good tonight, Sacco could do some line shuffling during the game.
Charlie Coyle playing on the top line is a perfect fit, as they looked really good, and Coyle even ended up scoring for the Bruins.
Tonight the Boston Bruins are looking to take on one of the best teams in the league as the Washington Capitals sit second in the league with 48 points, and just sit one point behind the first place Winnipeg Jets team.
The Washington Capitals enter tonight with a 23-8-2 record, and the Boston Bruins enter tonight with a 18-13-4 record.
Do you think the Boston Bruins should make these changes?
