The Boston Bruins held a skate today following their 4-2 win against the Washington Capitals last night, and a notable player was missing from practice.

According to Joe Pohoryles, Justin Brazeau was missing from morning skate today.

Jim Montgomery revealed that it's nothing to worry about as it's just maintenance for Justin Brazeau, and he also revealed that the Boston Bruins aren't dealing with any major injuries at this moment.

Maintenance day for Brazeau, per Montgomery. He says there's no serious injuries on the roster at the moment. #Bruins

Justin Brazeau has spent most of his time with the Providence Bruins since coming to the Boston Bruins organization, but last year he got a chance to play with the Boston Bruins and made a name for himself.

According to Hockeydb Justin Brazeau appeared in 19 games for the Boston Bruins and would go on to score 5 goals, along with 2 assists for 7 points while playing a depth role for the Bruins.

Justin Brazeau has looked good so far in preseason, even scored a nice goal off a beautiful assist from Georgii Merkulov yesterday against the Washington Capitals.

Brazeau is looking to take a roster spot this year, as there are a couple available, but he is going to have to earn it. So far he has made a pretty good name for himself, and if he keeps it up there is a good chance that we see him on the opening night roster for the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins take on the New York Rangers tomorrow, and will have some NHL players in their roster, we may see Brazeau play along side some of them.
