Bruins Forward Reveals He's Not Done Getting Revenge On Disgraced NHL'er
Bruins forward Trent Frederic sought retribution by engaging in a bout with Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba on Saturday night at TD Garden, following an incident where Trouba swung his stick, making contact with Frederic's head three weeks ago.
Although Trouba avoided suspension, he received a $5,000 fine from the NHL.
However, for Frederic, the quick scrap wasn't sufficient to satisfy his desire for payback. Expressing his frustration, Frederic stated that he believes he would need to fight Trouba ten times to match the impact of the stick incident. He acknowledged the unique aspect of hockey that allows such confrontations, emphasizing the sport's distinct physicality.
Frederic expressed his willingness to engage in multiple fights with Trouba to achieve the desired level of retribution, indicating that the opportunity may arise when the Bruins face the Rangers again on March 21 in the regular season's final matchup between the two teams.
