Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery has finally spoke on the physical incident that took place on Saturday while facing the Utah with Brad Marchand.

A incident surfaced during the Bruins game last Saturday when they were taking on the Utah Hockey Club where Jim Montgomery had hit brad Marchand on the bench after blowing a gasket on him.

The whole reason this happened was due to Brad Marchand causing a terrible turnover in the offensive zone, which would end up leading to Utah scoring the tying goal in the third period. Marchand caught a break though, as the goal would come back for being offside.

That's offsides

There was some speculation that Montgomery might lose his job over this, but he has recently spoke out about it:

Monty: "Between Marchy & I, there didn't need to be a conversation. He & I are both emotional people. I'm not ecstatic w/myself about it, but I don't think about it afterward & neither does he. He's a pro & a great player that does so many things. For us its over & done with"

Montgomery stated that he and Marchand have not talked about it, and that there doesn't need to be a conversation about it because they are both emotional people.

Do you think Montgomery was in the wrong for what he did?
