The Vancouver Canucks have a decent amount of players that will be free agents come July 1st, and Patrik Allvin will have to decide who he sees will be a good fit to keep around.
One of their biggest free agents is someone the Boston Bruins were heavily interested in at the trade deadline this year, being Elias Lindholm. Vancouver gave up quite a bit to acquire him, but he didn't really live up to expectations, and there is a good chance he walks in free agency.
Elliotte Friedman dropped a bomb regarding Lindholm and the Bruins, stating that the Bruins are trying to target Lindholm and it will be the top of their priority list as they are hurting for a number one center.
The Bruins surpassed expectations this year losing Bergeron and Krejci, their center depth took a massive hit, but still managed to get farther in the playoffs than they did last year, adding someone like Lindholm could be the missing piece they need to go for another Cup.
Don Sweeney has a lot of work to do as the Bruins have a lot of free agents this summer, and it will be interesting to see if he does go after Elias Lindholm or chooses to go for someone else.
