A former Boston Bruins player is set to join Macklin Celebrini with the San Jose Sharks as they are searching for a new head coach.

The San Jose Sharks fired David Quinn on April 24th and now they are searching for a new head coach.
The Sharks GM Mike Grier is looking for someone qualified for their young and upcoming team, who also has the first overall pick in this years NHL Draft.
Pierre LeBrun reported that the Sharks have been given permission form the LA Kings to speak with former first-round pick and former Boston Bruin Marco Sturm for the head coach position.
"Hearing that the Sharks have sought and received permission from the Kings to speak with Marco Sturm as part of their coaching search process " Pierre LeBrun said in a post on X.

Marco Sturm isn't new to coaching, after his career he went and coached the German national team in 2015, and in 2018 Sturm also lead the Germans to the gold medal game at the Winter Olympics.
The former Boston Bruin seems like a good fit for the San Jose Sharks who have a bright future ahead.
